Highly educated, adult male reports being witness to a metallic looking disk over Los Angeles mountains. Telephoned Report: A highly educated, adult male, called the Hotline to report a sighting of a metallic looking, disk-shaped object over the mountains of Los Angeles. He reported that he was driving, at the time of the sighting, and first saw the object through polarized dark glasses. Not believing what he was observing, he removed his dark glasses, thinking that their removal might somehow change the fact that he was looking at a UFO. He emphasized how dramatic, and unambiguous, the sighting was. When we spoke with the person via telephone, and requested that he submit a written report, he was non-commital, and said that he would first have to think about whether he wanted to do so. Telephoned Report: A highly educated, adult male, called the Hotline to report a sighting of a metallic looking, disk-shaped object over the mountains of Los Angeles. He reported that he was driving, at the time of the sighting, and first saw the object through polarized dark glasses. Not believing what he was observing, he removed his dark glasses, thinking that their removal might somehow change the fact that he was looking at a UFO.

He emphasized how dramatic, and unambiguous, the sighting was.
