U.F.O seen over Birmingham U.K. 2nd May 2009

At 22:35 on 2nd May 2009, I was out side in my garden having a cigarette,i looked up into the sky i saw a sphere shaped object,which I would describe as a ball a of fire.I called to my wife and son who came and watched,we then went to the front of our house,because the object had passed over,we continued to watch the object for about 6 mins before it disappeared out of sight in the distance.The object appeared to be traveling in a straight line,in a east to southeasterly direction across Birmingham England.
