I saw something that is not right

for the past month I have seen a bright object in the sky. it is a lot brighter than any star. it does not follow the pattern for a regular star. this light moves in a v pattern. most stars i have ever seen move in a direct line. this light has never moved like that and it moves too fast. i would like to know what it is.
