Black sphere traversed the sky over Rotherham, UK.

What appeared to be a black sphere was seen traversing the sky. Size and speed are hard to judge, but I would say that it was nothing unusual (i.e. consistent with conventional aircraft), but was moving quite fast (i.e. definitely a powered craft). Height appeared to be relatively low, but well above rooftop level.

The craft left no contrail and made no audible sound. It was travelling in a westerly direction against the prevailing wind and travelled in a straight line at a consistent height until it disappeared in the distance.
