July 3 2011 Franklin County, Missouri approx. 10:30PM an amber fiery ball of light seen for 3-4 minutes same time as firework display It was approx. 10:30 PM while the Lake Serene firework display was about to end and me, my mom, my 4 year old, & his dad were watching the display from our bk yard & setting our little family display of our own, this amber fiery ball floated towards us coming from the Lake Serene area where the grand finale firework display was going off & floated ACROSS our bk yard & continued for the next 3-4 minutes towards the same direction it had appeared from & at first site we all assumed it was a stray firework from display & like any firework it would fade& go out, not this it was no firework. It floated across our faces a amber fiery ball of light & the brightness stayed the same from the time we seen it until it was out of site. It floated silently, very silently but very bright across our yard& then it got towards adjoining neighbors yard back property line & the speed accelerated &zoomed away into the dark Franklin County skies& appeared to look like a star in! the sky. This is just 1 of the many sightings I have seen here. I am so curious if anyone else in this area has seen anything like this around here especially on 7-3-11?
