Three orange orbs over Eastgate Ohio

At precisely midnight on January first two thousand twelve my youngest son was having an asthma attack In his room on the uppermost level of our tri-level home. My wife and I were in the lower most level watching TV. My wife promptly ran upstairs to administer his treatment. As she was doing so something caught her eye through the bedroom window. She called for me urgently to come upstairs. Thinking something was wrong with my son. I quickly ran upstairs only to find him standing in the living room where his mother had told him to stay. The front door was left wide open with my wife calling for me to come outside. I ran outside to find three brilliantly glowing orange spheres peacefully gliding just above the street in front of our home. I would say they were no more than fifty feet above the tops of the neighborhood homes traveling almost directly out of the south heading north very slowly, no more than five miles an hour, between five and ten feet appart from each other, and completely level with one another on the horizon. They were moving so slow. My wife and I were able to get a good long look at them. We both quickly tried to dismiss them as some kind of new year lanterns, but their color was so vibrantly warm and completely uniform. There was absolutely no deviation in their luminosity, no flickering as if the light were to come from candles. They did not rise in the air whatsoever as if to be a hot air balloon. They didn't rise rapidly as to be filled with helium or any other lighter-than-air gas. Their were no signs of rockets attached to them. They were not filled with LED lights, the light almost appeared solid, uniform. We watched them drift, but with absolutely no wind behind them, in fact no wind at all. They also made no noise, no mechanical sounds;engines, rotors etc. Walking back through my home I went out the back door and continued to follow them glide over a neighbors home about two plots away. As I watched, the last most southern orb began to what I could only describe as short out and slowly fade out of existence. The other two remained to slowly venture north never changing in eleva! tion. I watched them until they could no longer be seen above the horizon. Just after our encounter with these orbs my wife and I recalled the strange yet completely peaceful silence we both experienced while we were watching them. Though we live just outside a commercial area in the suburbs we heard no cars, no celebration of the new year wich later seemed very strange.

It was a profound moment but not our first either. We have also both seen brilliant blue lights darting about in the north this past summer.
