Brightest craft with pulsating lights!

My 91 year old mother asked me,"What is that in the sky"? I looked and saw from a distance something so bright that it almost appeared as if it had beams coming from it...similar to looking like a star with prongs. She mentioned it had lights under it. We called the neighbors to verify and they too said they saw the lights under it. I reached for binoculars and could see many lights under the bottom of the craft. I handed my mother the binoculars and asked her to describe what she was...without my input so I could be positive we saw the same thing. She verified the same description and mentioned it had "snakes" in between the lights. Upon closer look...what she meant was in between the lights there appeared to be electrical sparks one light to the next...

We both watched the lights pulsate getting brighter and dimmer. At times...it would turn sideways but you could still see the brightness of the lights but clearly it had changed positions. It remained stationary for about an hour to 1 1/2 hours before moving to the northwest. Finally, needing to retire to bed...I watched until about midnight. My mother and neighbors are still talking about it! I did report it to the police office.
