Orange Fireball spotted over East Moriches, NY

One fireball object flying in irregular pattern observed at 22:30. Object appeared to hover and intermittently disappeared behind cloud coverage. No sounds were emitted. Was a bright orange color and impossible to tell the altitude or size. Was seen in rural/suburban area over a backyard. Was not moving quickly nor did it change trajectories. Sped up and slowed down.
