Clearly a saucer shaped, rotating mechanical craft

On the evening of February 26 2010 at 9.20pm I was standing on my back garden patio. I was relaxing and looking into the clear western sky where the consolation of Orion could be clearly observed. At the bottom of my garden is a nursing home and appearing over the roof of the nursing home was a orange flickering light, as I observed this light I could tell immediatly that it was rotating. I called my wife who was inside, to come outside to witness this with me. The craft we observed had lights rotating around it and was saucer shaped, as it came over the top of us I was transfixed on the base of the craft which was silvery blue in colour and the whole base was rotating - anti-clockwise with the orange lights above. The craft continued over my house. To observe this further my wife and I went through the house and out of the front of our property. Once out on our front lawn we could no longer see the object in the night sky anywhere. I recall feeling rather c! alm rather than excited but amazed by what we had just saw. I went back inside my prperty and checked the time with the clock and still have no idea why! I cannot stress enough that this was a mechanical craft, no noise I could hear, flying I would estimate 3-4,000 feet and the size of a chopper. (unless it was higher in the sky than I estimate, then it would be larger!)
