4 bright orange red circles floating in sky suddenly disappear

We were drving on the freeway when I looked up in the sky and I saw three bright orange, red spheres floating in the sky one was on top two were veru close it seems like they came together and broke apart. Then I saw the forth one very low.

All of a sudden they disappeared.
