Distinct shadow over ground, nothing in the air.

Driving east on St Rt 35 just west of Xenia, Ohio, shortly after 1330 EDT. High, blue sky, temp in the low 40s F. Saw large tapered shadow (narrow end leading, shadow heading WSW) pass over car, but nothing above me. Looked out windows and sunroof....no aircraft, birds, clouds, etc. No noise was heard.

Location is near local municipal airport, and maybe 10 miles from WPAFB, but no aircraft were in the the area.

Aerospace engineer with 30+ years expereince, aviation enthuisiat entire life.
