Black horizontal object floating with low lying clouds over Niles, IL

Four of us saw a black vertical shaped object floating with a cloud moving in the northwest direction with the same speed as the low floating dark cloud cluster; it never changed shape or direction. It just floated along, perfectly hortizontal. We all thought it had to be a good size for us to see it in the distance.
