Unexplainable light moving in a ways not achievable by know aircraft

The light/orb came at a high rate of speed from the south up the shoreline then stopped off shore about a 1/8 of a mile off shore over the ocean.

At that point it grew in size and brightness, then hovered for about 1-2 min.

It then took off at an upward angle towards the ocean at a seemingly impossible speed and disappeared.
