Roughly for the last year I have been observing a rather "bright" star the has been staying in orbit within the moon as it travels across the sky. The thing I find puzzling about this object, is that there is so many lights in where I observe this object that it's the only visible thing in the sky besides the moon. Also I have no equipment to get a good picture of it, yet the one time I use the google star map app and pointed the smart device I was using directly at it, the device said that there should be nothing there. Only one time have I noticed something "leaving" and seem to disappear rather quickly after detaching from the object. Also, for the most part it keeps in orbit with the moon, but sometimes it seems to just roam all over the sky.
