"Armada" of Strange Lights Over Fort Lauderdale Area.

I was walking home from the store, when I saw this seemingly endless parade of glowing lights. They were orange-ish. They had no blinking lights like planes, they were moving very slowly rising up from above the visible horizon, which was partly blocked by houses and trees so I only saw them when they rose above those. They seemed to prefer flying in triangular formations, or something approximating a triangle. They would fly a certain distance across the sky and then gradually fade out. I am unaware of any normal explanation for these things: apart from their bizarre appearance, there were too many of them too quickly to be civilian, and there was no official military activity to explain them either. They moved slowly but at times seemed to zig zag in a narrow area in a way that seemed unlike airplanes, but I can't prove that.

I caught video of it on my smartphone, and when that failed to take video due to low battery (my Moto G refused to shoot video when the battery got too low), I switched to my tablet (Nexus 7 2013 edition rear-facing camera). At some point one of my neighbors came out and was seeing it, but her English was imperfect so we had a hard time understanding each other. I was on the phone with my fiancee at the time, so you can often hear my side of the conversation but not hers.

I hesitated to even report this, but this was way too big. The "armada" as I thought of them went on and on and on and I would really like to know, if possible, what it was I actually saw.
