Bright Green light over Manhattan/North West So my friend and I were in Inwood Hill Park, that's a park in Upper Manhattan almost crossing to the Bronx/Yonkers and we were just sitting, talking on a bench facing North. Now it was raining ALL DAY yesterday and it was drizzling a bit while we were there. Very cloudy.. Like gray sky.. You couldn't really distinguish one cloud. There had been airplanes passing above and near us. We could HEAR them but not SEE them because that's how cloudy it was. So anyway we were sitting there and we saw a BRIGHT green neon light orb looking about hmm a mile away. It was hovering and then switched to a bright red/white light and then back to green. It was a constant green light. It was NOT flashing. The only time it flashed was when it was red/white for like 4 seconds. The light was moving really fast towards us. (South) and then it went back really quickly and then it was moving downwards really fast and then to the sides.. THIS COULD NOT HAVE BEEN AN AIRPLANE or a JET or helicopter.. the angles it was moving in were crazy. Kinda like zig zags. & then it vanished into thin air. This happen last night.. at about 12:30 am. It only lasted for about 35-40 seconds. Tried to capture it with my iphone but it was too dark and far to make out.. My other friend may have gotten it on her phone but it was probably too dark to see. REALLY exciting.. Hoping someone out there saw it. and got it on film.
