Wow, I finally saw one of those triangular objects I am one of those persons who has seen UFOs numerous times. I have literally seen UFOs probably at least a dozen times, but I had never seen one of these triangular objects until last night. I live in a 2nd floor apartment that faces east toward Hartford. I get a nice unobstructed view of the sky and I constantly see planes coming from Bradley Airport about 20 miles away, or I see planes going in for a landing there. So, I am VERY familiar with airliners. But tonight I just happened to look out and saw this BEAUTIFUL perfect triangle object. It had many very bright white lights on it and was flying very slowly. I don't know how high it was, maybe 3-5000 feet at most. It looked quite large, I got the impression it was probably twice the size of an average airliner. I wish I would have had time to count the lights, but I am sure I saw probably 7 or 8 large white lights, and one very small blinking red light near the center. But the entire craft was outlined by the white lights and was a perfect equilateral triangle 60/60/60. It was really a very pretty sight. It seemed to be going quite slow, much slower than the airliners I see every night. If I had to guess, I would say it was going maybe 200 mph at most. It was flying from northeast toward the southeast, which is the regular path many planes from Bradley follow. Anyway, I was only able to see it for about 10 seconds before it flew over my building, but I had time to put on a coat, grab a pair of binoculars and run downstairs which probably took about 15-20 seconds. It was going so slow that it was still there and I got to look at it for about another 15 seconds before it went behind another building and I lost sight of it. I am not completely sure, but I think I MIGHT have heard it, if so, it sounded like a normal airliner, but I might have been hearing another plane that I saw in the same part of the sky. That's it, very simple sighting, but a very beautiful object. It was probably one of ours, but I don't care, I have always wanted to see one of these triangular objects, and now I have.
