I was traveling to go fishing, and on the way there I was driving east on Hwy 26. I was coming through what we call the tunnels into downtown Portland. As I was coming out of the East Bound tunnel, I saw what I cannot explain. The thing I saw seemed to be a massive triangular object. It had multi-colored lights on each point of the triangle which seemed to me to be at least 150 to 200 yards apart. In the middle of this object was a bright white light coming from the middle pointing to the ground. I caught this sighting just as it was ascending back into the clouds, the thing I remember most is that when it was moving back into the clouds I could tell that it was a solid mass because it was darker than the clouds it was acending into. This lasted 4-5 and happened straight in my view while driving.
