It was 9:30 PM 4th of July 2013 my husband and I were sitting on our deck watching fireworks and all of a sudden this large red fireball came across the sky sideways from east to west at a very controlled speed. We watched it as it moved from right to left across the sky, it was a lot higher than the fireworks were. We know it wasn't a plane a helicopter or fireworks. We reluctantly called the police department and reported what we saw. Of course the dispatcher thought we were just seeing fireworks, but we know it wasn't fireworks for sure.
