10-12 orange spheres observed rising from ground level to the atmosphere. Clear, but slightly overcast evening. Rising moon and stars were slightly distorted by haze. Orange object was clear but unknown about about distance away from observer. Uneducated guess would be 4-7 miles. Servers times aircraft would be seen following/trailing objects.
