Huge yellowish and orange fireball coming down in the southern St. Petersburg area

I witnessed from our balcony what seemed to be less than a few miles away a bright orange and yellowish fireball falling straight down from the sky. The fireball went out before it hit the ground but it was coming down in the southern St. Petersburg area, or into the Tampa Bay waterway
