At approx 23:00 hours, a bright white light hovered over the Gulf of Mexico. It hovered in one spot for 10-15 min and then disappeared, only to return about an hour later for 10-15 minutes, and left. Got up at 03:30 on 06/12/16 and it was back and still there when I went to bed. Looked like a stationary spot light I would guess 100 yards above the water and a couple of miles off shore. ((NUFORC Note: We suspect that the witness may have been looking at a celestial body, possibly a star. PD))
