I was reading late on Thanksgiving night, when I began to hear a hellishly loud noise of something huge coming over our farm. My husband was away in the mts at his hunt club, & I was home w/ my two littlest children who were sleeping. I did not wake them, although I was surprised they didn't wake up. Did not want to scare them.

The noise could only be likened to something incredibly loud on a movie screen of a mechanical nature, much louder than a plane or helicopter. It continued on & on til finally I got up my nerve & went to the front window of our home (I was upstairs) & looked out & up...what I saw covered the entire span of the sky in the window..looked to be a HUGE craft passing over w/ tons of lights on the bottom side, hundreds of lights, but not like search lights...it continued to be the loudest thing I've ever heard, & seemed to span 30-40 acres above the fields of our farm. It was moving from east to west slowly (if it had just 'flown by' it would have been gone & the noise would have dissipated), but it was LOUD & methodically slow in moving over our place. Maybe not slow as much as SOOO vast that it took what seemed like forever to finally clear our area & be gone. (so it could have been more like a l/2 mi. wide).

I felt terrified & so wished my husband & older sons were here to see this w/ me...both for comfort & for the sheer unbelievability of it all. This was real, I was NOT asleep dreaming it, & I picked up my phone & dialed 911. The dispatcher said they'd received multiple calls about this & didn't know what it was, but were looking into it.

I called my husband also, just wishing to talk w/ him, & told him what I'd experienced...but there was nothing he could do so far away. I was definately TOO afraid to go downstairs & outside to get a better look.

I didn't think to call any of the neighbors the next day to ask about it...wish I had. Of course I never heard from the local police after this incident. Ha, what could they say? I just researched this on this site, hoping to see some other reports like this, but I don't.
