While looking out over the ocean, our family observed orange orbs glowing and then fade out while descending.

We observed them on two occasions the same evening. One family member saw the first around 8:15pm. She told the rest of us, who laughed at her.

We all went out on the deck. To our surprise, the orbs appeared glowing and the fading and descending.
