During rush hour right before sunset, in the sky, I think to the west I saw about eight different ones, all about the same shape what looked to be streaming the sky, heading down, not up..looked to be round at the tip and light streaming behind it. all connected.

It looked like in a movie when it shows an astoid (very small) hitting earth, that is what it resembled. There is a NASA center over in that direction, so i thought they were doing some kind of experiment? There were some above my head in the sky and to the west?
