7 white lights traveling extremely fast in formation towards the ocean. Visible for ~3 seconds.

I went out to smoke a cigarette just before 9pm. Looked up into the sky to see about 7 white lights traveling in a straight line across the sky from SW to NE out towards the ocean. They were only visible for about 3 seconds before vanishing from sight.
