Bright light hovers then vanishes at the speed of light I was leaving work to get something to eat and noticed a bright light hovering in the sky, slightly bigger than a star. My first thought was “that looks like a strange airplane!” But soon after I saw it, it sped away faster than any aircraft I have ever seen and disappeared into the night sky. The light didn’t fade- it simply vanished.
