When I was 12 years old a Black Cube chased me from an orchard, and I went in it to retrieve my dog.

8 or 9 at night, summertime, 1968-1970 somewhere in that time. I was 10-14 years old. Walking through a field I heard a voice. I turned and got down, thought it was a neighborhood kid. The voice stated, "You!" I stayed low, was extremely scared. I looked up and spotted a shiny black box exiting a nearby cherry orchard, said to be haunted. Bad things happened there.

The box was moving straight to me, so I stood and ran for home. I called for my dog and she began barking and running toward me. She barked so hard it scared me and I turned to the black box, and it was coming, so I turned back to the dog.

I got scared and froze and stood in the middle of the field screaming. My dog got to me ahead of the box, which was 10 feet from me and coming. My dog jumped and at the box and entered it. The box stood still.

I was in the moment and lost my fear, and walked to the box. The box seemed to be liquid, and looked like black water, like coffee. It dappled like a pond and steam was coming off the entire surface.

I put my hand to it and was in it. I only remember a moment or two, and lay on a bench in pitch black. A door opened and light flooded the room and I was outside the black box, followed by my dog.

Neither of us were wet, and she was very happy, but motioned for me to follow her home, of which I did. I looked back and the box was moving into the orchard.
