Ball in the sky

Object appears as a white ball with vapors strewing around off the front of the ball it as if it was a meteor, but traveled in a straight line going from west to east at approximately 15000 feet. Suddenly the vapor ceased coming off the front of the ball shape object rolling off the sides to the rear dissipating as the ball continued to the east to the point where it seemed to fade from the sky. The sky was very clear this morning at 6:00 and stars could still be seen.
