Stationary bright white light Initially observed what appeared to be a stationary exceptionally bright light above US Hwy 17S in Shallotte NC. The object remained stationary for several minutes, then began moving very slowly along the Highway towards Myrtle Beach, SC. The object remained in the sky, disappeared behind clouds for a few moments then was visible again. Object was still clearly visible overlooking the Intracoastal waterway in Little River, SC. The object appeared to be moving out over the ocean still with a very bright light. The light faded to orange and disappeared within seconds. Sky was rather clear.
