High rate of speed and sudden stop and back to a high rate of speed At 1935hrs I was out back with my dog looking up at the clear sky when a bright object moving at a high rate of speed moving southwest to northeast came into view at about 25 to 35 degrees magnetic north. I first thought it was a shooting star but the light flashed and suddenly came to a stop for about 3-4 seconds. Then the light flashed a few more times before it jumped to a high rate of speed. The object again came to a dead stop a second time, this time the object moved around in a side to side somewhat circular motion and jumped back to a high rate of speed from a complete stop. The whole event occurred over the course of 20 seconds.
