Looked like an out of focus moon moving slowly from north east to west. I was watching television and saw a bright light through the large doors in my living room facing north west. I initially thought it was an airplane with landing lights on. We live on a small mountain with no trees so we have a expansive view of the sky and see many airplanes but nothing has looked like this before. Why it was so odd is that when I stepped outside it looked like a full moon very out of focus and it moved slowly from NorthEast to west. I thought maybe it was an airplane behind clouds and the light was being difussed, but I realized there wasn’t a single cloud in the sky even on the horizon - no clouds whatsoever, stars were everywhere sharp and pinpointed. The orb like object took a southwest direction and went behind a tree in my yard so in the video I move my direction slightly to try to get a better view through the branches of the tree. In the video you can also see pinpointed lights below the object which are security lights from a house on the mountain in front of us. you can also hear a car on the road nearby. In the video the object looks blurred however it is not, that is how it looked to the naked eye. The video also makes it look smaller. Towards the end I noticed the light expanding outward from the center of the object further into the sky. It then went below the horizon behind a mountain and disappeared.
