We thought it was a planet, but no planets were able to be seen via Google sky at that time. We brought out a rudimentary telescope and We saw and recorded rings. It looked like a planet or bright star, but we couldn't find a reference on Google Sky or our books. We are skeptics, but we know we saw something we couldn't identify. Our son also had a complete meltdown which is not like him. I say that because the other questions don't ask about behaviors. He's only 4 so that's to be expected, but it was disconcerting due to the size of the meltdown and he also didn't want us looking at it.
