At around minute 6 while the sub is above water, a changing disc flies from right to left of screen.

Season 3 Episode 3 Mighty Ships USS Kentucky on Smithsonian Channel 5/30/22. Around the 6 minute mark of air time. There is an elliptical rotating feature around the disc shaped object that looks almost like a bird flapping it’s wings, but it’s way too fast to be a bird.
