Reporting for friend who witnessed. Said it slowly moved down from sky and settled on hillside in distance. Was looking at sunset.

Orb floated down from sky. Definitely not a lens flare. Including a closeup I did in Photoshop where I tweaked contrast and colors. You can see a Aurora around the sphere and something inside, energy or something? Home elevation is approx. 1800 feet up looking West towards coast. Lifted up and then disappeared.
My friend actually witnessed it. Took shot with iphone 11
