Location details: I was facing south in my backyard getting some morning sun before it got too hot.

Shape: Cigar

Tube shaped object gray in color and then turned into a brilliant light and was gone.

I was sitting in my backyard facing south getting some morning sun before it got too hot and I saw the object. This object was a gray tube and was just moving along slowly. It then just turned into brilliant light and was gone. The sky is clear and no clouds. I only saw it for one minute. I have never seen anything like this before.
