Moved across 1/4th sky for about 10 seconds and quickly faded/dimmed altogether. Bright solid line no tail, consistent length.

3rd night sitting on a balcony after sunset til about 10:30 while on vacation with wife. We saw the solid looking line appear, with a fairy consistent length and moved across 1/4th the sky before the whole think quickly got dim about 10 seconds later. It appeared to have some shape or mass above and below the line. Their was no tail to the line and it all faded at once. Size seemed consistent maybe getting or appearing slightly shorter/smaller before it faded as well and we lost track.
