Saw cylinder (fuselage, no wings) gliding over residential area. Driving home, east on W. Nifong, turning left, north, on Forum Blvd. when a flash of light caught my eye, saw a cylinder (fuselage, no wings) gliding east over a residential area. I would say it was about 500 feet to my northeast, (Google maps) traveling east. It was approximately 60 degrees over horizon, so rather low. Unfortunately, because of traffic I could not pull over. I continued to look for object as I drove and cleared trees but did not see it again. It appeared bright white, not silver, would measure about half an inch at if held at arms length. Sky was clear, no clouds. Sun was bright.
