Midsummer, sitting outside a small apartment with another adult and several children suddenly began to hear low humming sound above us.

The apartment complex sat in the midst of an open area which was surrounded by large, mature trees. As we began to hear the humming sound, we all looked up and saw a huge, slow-moving round gray-looking object just above the treeline going east to west coming from the direction of the airport. We watched the object for several minutes as it passed over us, and we ran to the other side of the apartment and watched it continue to move slowly through the sky. It had no lights. After it had moved passed us, it suddenly accelerated at an insane speed and quickly disappeared shooting up into the sky. I was extremely shaken and called the airport to ask if they had seen an object on their radar, and they said they had not seen any unidentified objects.

Two nights later, another adult and I were again sitting in the front of the apartment at night, when we noticed three red "lights" moving south to north just above the treeline near us. As it continued along for about 5 minutes, one of the objects glowed redder and seemed to grow larger, then two glowing orange objects descended from the bottom of the glowing light and all three accelerated at a speed much faster than an aircraft and went north out of sight.

I've told this to friends through the years, but never reported it. I'm now a level-headed grandmother and that this sighting made a believer out of me.
