Stationary object lit up in night sky hovering While laying in bed I observed a light in the night sky seen through my bedroom window blinds. When this light remained stationary and there weren’t any blinking navigation lights, it was then I realized this was something different. I heard no sound although it was estimated to be mile or more in distance at less than 5,000 feet altitude. When I leaned toward the window to pull the blinds back, the light on it went totally dark and I never saw it again.
