When captured on infrared camera, quick flashes that looked like objects moving downward proved to be cylinders of light This one was truly strange. There was a wind but the debris in the infrared video capture wasn't evident to the naked eye. The quick downward moving flashes on the screen looked like quick moving objects, but when the screen is captured, are clearly beams of light. There may be some atmospheric explanation, but I don't know what it would be. I tried to see what lightning would look like one evening, but it was nothing like those quick beams. And I have at least one object that moved so fast it wa just a streak, but the streak isn't see-through translucent - it was an object.
