some thing that made noise and looked like it was shooting stuff out or in making a lot of noise

There was some thing that made noise like it was mechanical. It was kinda blurry but clearly showed something there. It was gray and appeared to be shooting things out or dropping things in. Eventually, it looked like fog or goop came out of it. It was located up against the house next to the electric meter but there is nothing located in that spot. Not a thing.
