I witnessed a round very bright ball of light. No sound nothing else in the sky. In a blink of an eye it was gone off to the east. I was walking my dog in an open field at about 0830-0845. Can't be sure of the exact time. The sky to the north was clear. To the east were some scattered clouds. I did not see or hear any aircraft in the sky at this time. As I walked, I looked up and a round object appeared at about 1100 o'clock in front of me. It was very bright and definitely round. There was no noise or contail. At first, I thought it was an aircraft. But dismissed the idea being that I never saw an aircraft reflect sunlight in perfectly round shape. After a about a minute or less the object had a line or a beam of light coming out of it at about its 100 o'clock. Then in a split second it was come. There was nothing in the sky that I would see for miles. I'm sorry to say I didn't get my cell out fast enough to get a video.
