2 lights near one another approximately 1 inch apart

My friend from Eugene called me and said “Go outside and look west”.
My husband and I immediately saw the 2 lights that my friend was talking about.

Also another person in my neighborhood also saw it. As posted on the Nextdoor app.

The lights started to fade or get further away then had disappeared from view by 8:00PM
